The American Bulldog is a very strong dog which can take a large amount of pain, so when something is wrong with your dog, he'll try not to let you know. When a bulldog got struck by a bull or another animal, it wasn't allowed to show fear because he had to defend the property. This means the bulldog will do anthing to please his owner as much as he can, also defending him in dangerous situations.
You purchase an American Bulldog when it is at least 8 weeks old. You take the pup home and start raising and shaping your dog. It has to be house broken so out after dinner and drinking and in the morning when you get out of bed. This is to prevent your dog from doing its needs indoors. It will also start teething. Make sure it has plenty of toys to chew on. The pup will also become stubborn and start to expolre... so stay consistant. Let the dog be a pup. Let it rest enough so it can develop well physically. You must remember that your dog can start to be aggressive towards other dogs or cats. This doesn't mean your dog is vicous but he wants to protect his owner. Want to purchase an American Bulldog?
